Bharatanatyam is a classical Indian dance form originating in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a system of dance, described in the Natya Shastra, capable of manifesting various forms. Bharatanatyam, as the name depicts is the combination of: 'Bha' - Bhavam (means expression), 'Ra' - Ragam (means music), 'Ta - Talam (means beat or rhythm) and Natyam (means dance)
Learning Bharatnatyam normally takes many years before the arangetram (debut). We provide a 7 years certificate course recognized by Nalanda University wherein the student is trained on the various aspects of the dance form.
